Getting Started with EVM Live

If you're reading this, you're likely thinking about signing up for EVM Live and looking for a little more info about the service. We've provided some information that you will find helpful in making your decision and we invite you to review it below.

What is EVM Live?

EVM Live is a highly configurable cloud based event management system for all of your devices. We even like to say EVM Live is "Your Events in the Cloud". One of the best ways to learn more about what EVM Live is would be to watch any of our videos on our Support Help Center page or to browse our EVM Features page. We also have answers to some questions you might have on our Frequently Asked Questions page. What's Included?

Our two subscription plans only differ in how many panels you have available to organize your event information. Our "Lite" subscription packs all of the features of our "Basic" Subscription package but comes with 7 panels vs. the full 21 panel Basic version. Many clients will find that 7 panels is plenty of space to store all of their event data, and at a price of $35.00 per month this is a great bargain! If you need more, our Basic Subscription package comes with 21 panels and is a great value at $75 per month.

But wait! We are including two add-ons free of charge. Our very powerful Travel Module will help you organize your flights, car travel, and more while our handy File Downloads Module lets you organize event specific file resources in one place per event. These both come at no cost to you regardless of which of our plans you choose!

What else can I add?

If you thought we had great plans to choose from, just wait until you get a look at our add-ons! Our super time-saver Itinerary to Flights Module enables you to forward your flight receipts directly to EVM Live and use the data to create your flight information that appears in the Travel Module. This amazing module is available now for only $10 extra per month.

Also, our SMS Module lets you send a text message alert to all team members of a particular event (for example, if there have been some important changes to certain panel categories of an event). This module is available now for only $5 extra per month.

Each of our subscription plans come with 1 admin user included. This person is given the ability to add and edit information to your events. In most cases 1 admin user is plenty, but if you feel you need to add more we can do that. Each additional admin user is an additional fee of $25 per user per month. But remember that the first admin user comes free of charge.

When you signup you will also be given the opportunity to have us help you set up your initial configuration in a customized way. Your EVM Live site comes with a simple, starter setup: 1 Starter event, 1 Event title, and a couple of modules already configured. For an additional, one time charge we can give you an expanded configuration. EVM Live is highly configurable so you can further customize our configuration after the fact, but this is an easy way to get more things configured from the "get go". Please note that this is a one time fee that will cost between $250-600 and the exact cost is determined after you contact us.

What do I need?

Before you sign up for EVM Live, you'll want to check a few things off your list. Most importantly, make sure you have a valid form of payment, devices to stream from, and a solid internet connection at the locations you will use the system. EVM Live works well in almost any situation as long as you have a solid and reliable internet connection.

How do I get started?

To signup for EVM Live and start organizing your events we ask that you do a couple of things first.

First of all, each EVM Live account makes use of something called a subdomain. Your subdomain will be the short word or phrase that appears before the evmlive.com url address. For example, acmeband.evmlive.com has a subdomain of "acmeband". Your subdomain choice must not be more than 16 characters long and must be all lower case, with letters and hyphens only. NOTE: Don't worry. If you have questions about this you can leave it blank for now and we will contact you later after you finish the signup process. But if you DO enter a subdomain, we will use your choice and just so you know - there is no changing this after you begin using your account.

Next, each EVM Live account needs a group name. Since your group name can not be changed after the group is created, it's important that you carefully consider your choice. For the most part you should be judicious about the length and character choices of your group name. And as with your subdomain choice, if you have questions about your group name you can leave it blank for now and we will contact you later after you finish the signup process.

So, let's summarize what this subdomain and group name business is all about. Please think about a subdomain that fits within the requirements mentioned above and do the same for a group name. You can STILL leave these blank when you signup but we will not be able to create your account until we contact you and verify what you want.

After you assemble your contact and payment information to enter into our signup form there is only ONE more thing we need you to do. You will need to read through our "Terms and Conditions" document. After you read the Terms and Conditions you will need to click the "I have read and I Agree" checkbox to unlock our signup button. Clicking the signup button will forward you to our signup page.
